Our Camps are Way More than Just Fun

If you’re looking for ways to engage your child in new and exciting experiences this summer, you’ve got to check out our Sylvan STEM camps (science, technology, engineering and math). There’s nothing quite like them! Kids imagine, explore and create, all while learning super cool STEM skills that will help them in school and in life.

Sylvan’s STEM summer camps are designed to be fun and interactive. Our teachers are expert at engaging kids and bringing out their best, whether they’re in-person or online.

Get to know our innovative camps

  • Coding camps (Grades 3-8)
    Using our exclusive Tynker™ technology platform, younger kids can learn coding fundamentals with easy to use drag and drop technology, while older kids can dive into JavaScript and Python Coding for more advanced programming. Kids will love designing their own video games and coding them to fruition!
  • Robotics camp (Grades 1-6) 
    In our Robotics camps, kids learn how to build and program a variety of robots using LEGO® bricks and award-winning software. Kids bring their LEGO creations to life – how cool is that? Each theme-based session encourages creativity and imagination as kids brainstorm, build and experiment with amazing robots.
  • Engineering camp (Grades 1-6)
    In our engineering camps, kids turn into real engineers: designing, evaluating and reconstructing machines and super structures. (The creations are inspired by real life structures from all over the globe and get more and more amazing with imagination!) Every project has a clever theme to spark imaginations and turn problem solving and skill-building into a fun game.
  • Fit4Algebra camps (Grades 6-9)
    We get kids in tip-top shape for Algebra, using an engaging mix of activities to ensure math muscles are strong and fit.

What to expect from Sylvan STEM camps

Whether online or in person, our camps have small group sizes and offer fun, collaborative activities that allow for great camaraderie and socialization opportunities with like-minded kids. We’ve created our own proprietary curriculum that encourages innovation, creativity and critical thinking. Our courses also meet Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) which means your child is learning the skills, concepts and vocabulary to excel in school and in future careers!
