Refund, Attendance & Program Adjustment Policy

At Sylvan Learning, we are committed to delivering high-quality, personalized educational services. This policy outlines the terms governing enrollment, attendance, and refunds.

  1. Enrollment & Payment Terms

All purchased packages are non-refundable once enrollment is confirmed and instructional resources have been allocated.

By completing payment, the customer acknowledges that fees secure:

  • Reserved instructional time
  • Instructor allocation
  • Academic planning and individualized learning resources
  1. Refund Policy

No refunds, partial refunds, or monetary credits shall be issued for:

  • Unused sessions
  • Missed sessions (including absences or late cancellations)
  • Withdrawal due to personal, academic, behavioral, or scheduling reasons

This policy forms an integral part of the enrollment agreement and is deemed accepted upon payment.

  1. Attendance & Scheduling

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.

While we strive to accommodate scheduling needs, any requests for rescheduling are:

  • Subject to availability
  • Not guaranteed
  • At the discretion of the center
  1. Program Adjustments (Non-Monetary Solutions)

In line with educational best practices, we may offer reasonable alternatives where a student is unable to continue attending as originally planned.

Subject to availability and approval, these may include:

  • Schedule adjustments
  • Modified learning plans
  • Alternative instructional formats
  • Reallocation of remaining sessions to other academic programs

These options are provided in place of refunds.

  1. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds will only be considered if the center is unable to deliver the agreed educational service due to reasons solely attributable to the center.

In such cases:

  • Approved refunds will be pro-rated based on unused sessions
  • Administrative and utilized resources may be deducted
  1. Governing Law

This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable regulations issued by Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
